Dr. Marek Kozlowski
Dr. Marek Kozlowski is an Investment Manager at NRW.BANK with a focus on early stage investments, company & product development, as well as exit transactions in several life science sectors. Prior to that, Marek conducted more than 10 years of basic and translational research including epigenetics and tumor dormancy at European Molecular Biology Laboratory (Heidelberg), Biomedical Center Munich, Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School (Boston).
During his academic years, Marek co-founded the most active European and Asian early stage Life Science Accelerator “Imagine IF”. Marek holds a PhD in Molecular Biology from Ludwig Maximillian University of Munich and EMBL Heidelberg and is an alumnus of the International Graduate Research Program at Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry. He studied biotechnology at Warsaw University finishing with a Master of Engineering.
